A COURIER IN GOD
"Meditation on the True
Teacher's form reveals the
meaning of the objective world,
as all objects are found to be
contained in His person."

                 --Francis Brabazon,
                    "Art as Practice of Devotion"
Driving within
Your Universal Body
From one place to another
On a cool, cloudy day.
Myriad souls,
Drops of Your Being
Buzz along these freeways,
These veins
& arteries of You.
Deep in Your Belly,
Deep in Your Guts
I look out upon
Blue trucks and red cars,
Bridges and buildings,
Smokestacks and palm trees,
Cities, sea and mountains
Stretching away
All visible at once.
When I was a child
We used to spill a burlap bag
Full of toy buildings and people
Onto the floor and
Make ourselves a city.
You did that, too, Baba,
You're doing it now,
And I'm happy to be
One of the little
Toys in Your
Whimsical Game.
